It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to call/e-mail the school every time a student is absent.
After school activities/athletics for middle school and elementary school age students are the responsibility of Youth Services. DoDDS-E does not have authority, nor does it receive funding, to initiate such services.

The new open continuous announcements (OCAs) for the school support positions (i.e., secretary, supply, educational aid, etc) have been posted to the DoDDS-E website at http://www.eu.dodea.edu/hr/open.php. There are many changes as a result of NSPS and the new OCAs reflect those changes.
These announcements require individuals to submit an updated application no later than 31 March 2008 so they may continue to be considered for school level positions. If an individual already has an application under the old announcement THEY MUST SUBMIT A NEW APPLICATION. They will be sent notification explaining what needs to be done. The period between 1 March and 31 March will be a transition period so individuals who already have an application on file with their DoDDS-E district human resources office will continue to be considered for vacancies but after 31 March only individuals with a new application on file will be considered for employment.
